Our Dojo

 Andrew Dendariarena is the head instructor of the Tatsujin Dojo in New York City. He has been a practitioner of the martial arts since 1990.  Andrew's mission is to preserve the lineages of these very old Martial traditions and teach how to utilize the principles learned for modern self-defense. Andrew has been teaching Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu since 2004 and has made several trips to Japan to learn directly from Soke Hatsumi and his top DaiShihan. In January 2021, Andrew was given the honor of representing Renshinkan Daito Ryu as New York's first official Renshinkan Dojo. In January 2023 Andrew was awarded the prestigious title of Kancho Dairi (acting director) of the Renshinkan organization.
